I’ve Been Pressed!

No, not by some perv in the Tube.  For this post. Actually I feel more like my favorite grind of  a dark roast Tanzanian Teaberry coffee (as I write this I get a worrisome chill: is it a product of human slavery?  Oh no! Maybe I’ll have to switch to a Costa Rican Fair Trade…) in a French press, the rich hot good liquid being separated from the rich hot good solids….it’s all good!  But the liquid is what we drink in our coffee cups.  So I raise my coffee cup to all of us wonderful bloggers, and I dedicate this honor to you, to us all, because we are the engine without which WordPress would, uh, not be WordPress, and would not run.  And for myself, personally, you, the WP community, and particularly my wonderful community of Mental Health bloggers and my Team Canvas, are the engine that keeps me blogging and continuously feeds me inspiration and ideas.

So, THANK YOU to every one of you, and especially you fellow “Mentals” who really do keep me chugging along.

Cheers!  (clink)

Laura

  1. Congratulations on the well-deserved pressing. When you hit the big time, don’t forget about all of us “little bloggers” who remembered you when…

P.S. Definitely go with the Costa Rican Fair Trade. You will sleep better at night. (Especially if you drink Decafe.)

    • I tell you what, girl, you got good taste! You next! Hey, whenever you get off call, let’s have a drink and tell stories.

      • HAHAHA–they will drag my dead body out of there before I ever get to retire from call…at least until I decide to leave, and since I have been the only person to have stayed, I don’t see that happening. Well, if I come into Lots Of Money I might cave….if you ever are in Kansas City, I will take you to a barista that I love!

Hello, I really like your post. They way you write its different. I have passed through some rough times on the couple last months to the point that I need to visit a clinic psychologist every week, but here I am. Thanks for posting sometimes you need to share what you think. Have you felt this way? Congratulations

    • Thank you! I see a clinical psychologist weekly myself, and I find blogging to be the best form of therapy! I hope you find some release in writing and sharing too. Be well and take care!
